Educators:

We at Springvale Indoor Sports are on the lookout for an Early Childhood Educator to work with us during the school holidays and also assist with administration tasks involving the running of parties throughout the school term. (Dual Role)

The ideal candidiate is an individual that can contribute to our education and care program, working as part of the educator team to meet the needs of the children attending the Centre. A working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework is highly regarded.

This role will include implementing developmentally appropriate programs for individuals and groups of children, maintaining a safe and healthy environment and contribututing to the overall running of the school holoday program.

Applicant must also be committed to assisting with the overall running and organisation of our birthday parties.

Shift hours are negotiatbale.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with educators to develop and implement high-quality, play-based educational programs for children that inspires critical thinking.
  • Contribute to the creation of a nurturing and inclusive environment that fosters children’s holistic development.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records and documentation, including child observations and portfolios.
  • Build strong partnerships with families, providing open and effective communication regarding children’s progress and well-being.
  • Phone Calls and Email communication with parents
  • Booking of Parties
  • Assiting with the running of parties (weekends)

Qualification Requirements

  • Diploma or Associated Diploma level qualification recognised by Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA)
  • Demonstrated understanding and commitment to applying the National Quality Framework and Standards, the service philosophy of Education and Care, the National Early Years Learning Framework and Child Protection – Mandatory Reporting Framework.
  • A working with Children Check, National Police Clearance and First Aid qualification approved by ACECQA that includes applying first aid, CPR, emergency asthma management, anaphylaxis and diabetes.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 per year

or

$27.00 – $38.00 per hour
